We collect and process the following data exclusively for the purpose of providing the extension’s functionality:

• Tab Data (URLs and Titles): We access the URLs and titles of your open tabs to display them in the Tab Book side panel, organize them into groups, and apply visual markers (emojis).
• User Preferences: We store your created groups, saved sessions, and marker configurations.

We do not transmit this data to any external servers. All data is processed locally within your browser.

2. Data Storage

All data generated or collected by Tab Book is stored locally on your device using the Chrome Storage API (chrome.storage.local). This data remains on your machine and is not synced to any cloud servers managed by us.

3. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your data to outside parties. The extension operates entirely offline and does not communicate with any third-party analytics or tracking services.

4. Permissions

To function, Tab Book requires the following permissions:

• tabs & activeTab: To read tab titles/URLs for organization and grouping.
• scripting & host_permissions: To modify tab titles (adding emoji markers) on the pages you visit.
• storage: To save your groups and sessions locally.
• sidePanel: To display the main interface.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
